2023 Hours
Open:
- 10am - 4pm Tuesday-Saturday through Halloween.
- 10am-4pm Thursday-Saturday through Thanksgiving.
- Closed Thanksgiving
- 10am-4pm Friday and Saturday Nov. 34 through Dec. 16
- 1pm-4pm Sunday, December 17: Community Open House & Art Show
- Closed December 18-January 4. Reopening for the Winter Session Friday, Jan. 5.
- Open some evenings year round for special programs.
Parking is available in a small lot in front of the museum, and an overflow lot across the street that is marked with a large sign.
If both are full, street parking is available on Herrick Road, but only on the same side of the street as the museum. This is important, as parking along the other side of Herrick Road could result in a visit from police officers responding to reports of illegal parking.

Groups: We are happy to work with school and community groups to arrange programs or tours of the museum. Visits to the museum are currently subject to state rules and best practices for the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.
Wheelchair Accessibility: The museum’s side entrance provides easy access for wheelchair users. All public facilities, including restrooms, are on the ground floor and are barrier-free.
Our Mask Policy
The Wendell Gilley Museum welcomes visitors of all ages and strives to create a safe and hospitable environment. At this time, masking inside the museum is optional in most cases. There may be times when masks may be required for certain events or activities, or in instances of heightened community transmission. The Gilley will continue to provide masks for those who choose to wear them, and we ask that all visitors respect the masking choices of others. We look forward to seeing you, and offer our thanks in advance for helping us create a welcoming experience for everyone.
